GTA Youth Leader Program

Youth empowerment remains at the forefront of our community goals. Created in 2019, our GTA Youth Leader Program showcases young leaders who create positive change in their communities while excelling in academics. It is a platform for our youth to inspire others, make meaningful connections with their peers, and reinvigorate positive change in the community.

Eligiblity
  • 3.5 Cumulative GPA
  • Excel in sports, the arts, or creating a positive change.
  • Must be a Guam resident and enrolled in a local high school as a Junior or Senior for academic SY 2022-2023

Attended the Oceania Track and Field Regional Championships in Mackay, Australia. In the events of U20 800m, 1500m, Javelin, and the men’s 4x400 relay.

Attended the Pacific Mini Games in NMI in the events of Triathlon, Aquathlon, and Track 1500m.

Her poem “You Almost Had Me Once” placed 1st in UOG Press’ Your Art Matters poetry category.

Her sculpture of a woven bird was featured in Dawn Lee Reyes’ Birds of Paradise Exhibit.

Co-lead creating a sculpture depicting Two Lover’s Point for Micronesian Climate Change Alliance’s Telling Tales with Trash contest which placed 1st in the high school category.
